2017 Pinot Blanc, Mendocino County
In the glass: Pale straw yellow
Aroma: Lemon blossoms and apricots
In the mouth: Lovely crisp entry, with flavors of citrus, apple, stone fruit and balanced mouth feel
Finish: Pleasant finish of citrus and apricots
Note: This wine tastes like summer. In crispness and body, it falls between a traditional Chardonnay and a Sauvignon Blanc. It was cold fermented in a stainless steel tank and did not go through malolactic fermentation, leaving it with refreshing acidity. Perfect for those warm summer nights!
We are bottling the 2017 Pinot Blanc on February 16 and will begin shipping futures orders the last week in February.
