2016 Pinot Blanc, Mendocino County
In the glass: Pale straw yellow
Aroma: Lemon blossoms and apricots
In the mouth: Lovely crisp entry, with flavors of citrus, stone fruit and balanced mouth feel
Finish: Pleasant finish of citrus and apricots
Note: This wine tastes like summer. In crispness and body, it falls between a traditional Chardonnay and a Sauvignon Blanc. It was cold fermented in a stainless steel tank and did not go through malolactic fermentation, leaving it with refreshing acidity. Perfect for those warm summer nights!
